Quick answer: Use an eligible Chase card at Paze checkout to stack the 10x Paze bonus with card category bonuses for 17x on the Domino’s example, a 17% return. The Paze bonus caps at $1,500 in purchases per month per card.

Last week I ordered $31.73 of Domino’s and earned 539 Ultimate Rewards points on it. That’s a 17% return — on pizza. No manufactured spending, no gift card games. Just three promos stacked on one checkout.

Here’s the receipt, layer by layer, and how your family can run the same play through December 31.

Offer details verified October 8, 2026.

The 17x stack, broken down

Chase itemizes every layer in the app, so there’s no guessing:

LayerRatePoints on $31.73
Base earn (1x everywhere)1x31.73
Freedom Flex dining bonus (+2x)2x63.46
Q4 5% category bonus (dining)4x126.92
Paze checkout offer10x317.30
Total17x539.41

The two things doing the heavy lifting: the Freedom Flex’s Q4 dining category (3x dining + 4x quarterly bonus = 7x) and the 10x Paze checkout bonus. Either one alone is nice. Together they’re 17 points per dollar on food you were buying anyway.

What Paze is (and why Chase is paying you to use it)

Paze is a digital wallet built by the big banks — Chase, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Capital One, and others — as their answer to Apple Pay and PayPal for online checkout. When you check out at a participating merchant, Paze appears as a payment option using the cards already tied to your bank accounts.

To get people to actually use it, Chase is running a promo through December 31, 2026: eligible Sapphire and Freedom cardholders earn an additional 10 Ultimate Rewards points per dollar when checking out with Paze at participating merchants. The details:

  • Eligible cards: Sapphire Reserve, Sapphire Preferred, Freedom Flex, Freedom Unlimited, legacy Freedom. No business cards, no authorized users.
  • Cap: $1,500 in Paze purchases per month per card — up to 15,000 bonus points monthly.
  • No activation required. Select Paze at checkout with an eligible card and the bonus posts automatically (can take up to 8 weeks).
  • Participating merchants include Domino’s, Dunkin’, United Airlines, Sephora, ShopRite online, and StubHub — roughly 30 total. The list grows over time.
  • Check your eligibility: Chase app → Benefits & Travel tab → “Boost your points.” If it’s listed, you’re in.

The Q4 Freedom Flex layer

The other half of the stack is the Flex’s rotating quarterly categories. For Q4 2026 (October 1 – December 31): dining, grocery stores, and Red Cross donations earn 5% (5x points), on up to $1,500 in combined spending.

Two catches:

  1. You must activate at chasebonus.com by December 14, 2026. No activation, no bonus.
  2. The $1,500 cap is shared across all three categories for the quarter.

On dining, the math works out to 7x: the card’s standard 3x dining plus the 4x quarterly bonus (Chase counts the 1x base only once). Add the 10x Paze bonus and you’re at 17x — exactly what the Domino’s order shows.

The family playbook: where to stack

The strategy is simple — route spending you’re already doing through merchants that take Paze, paid with the Flex in Q4:

  • Domino’s / Dunkin’ — family food orders at 17x through December.
  • United Airlines — book flights with Paze via the Flex or a Sapphire. With the Reserve’s 4x on direct airline bookings plus 10x Paze, that’s 14x on airfare.
  • StubHub — Paze checkout works here too, and it stacks with the Reserve’s StubHub credit.
  • Spread across cards — the $1,500/month Paze cap is per card, so a household with multiple eligible Chase cards gets multiple caps.

Watch the exclusions: Newegg was removed from the 10x promo mid-year, and gift-card merchants can be excluded. If a merchant stops earning the bonus, the stack breaks silently — check your points breakdown after the first purchase at any new merchant.

The bottom line

Promo stacking is the highest-return skill in the points game, and this is the cleanest example of it running right now: a real 17% return on a pizza order, from three independent bonuses that multiply instead of competing. The Paze offer ends December 31 and the Flex’s dining quarter ends with it — run every eligible dollar through this stack while both are live.

What is Paze?

Paze is a digital wallet created by major US banks (Chase, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Capital One, and others) for online checkout. It works like PayPal or Apple Pay but uses the cards and accounts already linked to your bank. Note: it’s online checkout only — no tap-to-pay in stores.

How do I know if my Chase card has the 10x Paze offer?

Open the Chase app, go to the Benefits & Travel tab, and look for “Boost your points” in your card’s benefits. Eligible cards are the Sapphire Reserve, Sapphire Preferred, Freedom Flex, Freedom Unlimited, and legacy Freedom. Business cards and authorized users are excluded.

Does the 10x Paze bonus stack with category bonuses?

Yes — that’s the entire play. The 10x is additional points on top of whatever your card normally earns, including the Freedom Flex’s Q4 5% dining category. That’s how a $31.73 Domino’s order earned 17x.

What’s the cap on the Paze offer?

$1,500 in Paze purchases per month per eligible card, for up to 15,000 bonus points monthly. The offer runs through December 31, 2026. Holding multiple eligible Chase cards means multiple monthly caps.

Do I need to activate the Freedom Flex Q4 categories?

Yes. Activate at chasebonus.com by December 14, 2026, or the 5% quarterly bonus won’t apply. The Paze 10x itself needs no activation — just check out with Paze using an eligible card.
